Ocala/Marion County Community Partnership

Communities across the country have an opportunity and challenge to address the racial tensions that have increased worldwide since approximately 2012. SCA has initiated efforts to proactively engage communities to make significant progress in improving racial relations. SCA is designing initiatives to bring individuals of all races, ethnicities, and backgrounds together to jointly address some of the unique challenges faced in our communities of color. SCA facilitates shared opportunities for community partners to discuss and develop measurable goals that provide economic and social empowerment opportunities for communities of color.

SCA conducted a very valuable SWOT analysis with input from local citizens and residents of the community and is working towards developing a strategic plan for the Black Community that will be executed by the community members. All citizens regardless of race, ethnicity, etc. are encouraged to participate in this process. All of our meetings are held at Mary Sue Rich Community Center in Ocala.  The dates for the next three meetings are July 27, 2023; and August 31, 2023; and September 30, 2023.  Please contact caindavis03@yahoo.com for more information.
